Gods Love

My daughter Elçin Karen once asked me, Daddy does Jesus sees us? I answered, Yes he does. She asked, why then is it we don't see Him? I answered, we don't see Him now, but one day we will.

God loves us very much, let’s love our brothers and sisters

My daughter Elçin Karen once asked me, Daddy does Jesus sees us? I answered, Yes he does. She asked, why then is it we don't see Him? I answered, we don't see Him now, but one day we will.

Yes, One day we will see Jesus! He will come back and we will see Him face to face!

Even now we belong to Him. Even when we are unable to see Him with our physical eyes, we know His presence and He has saved us from our sins. When we see Jesus, we will become like Him !

My hope is in Christ my Saviour. What about you, do you have the same hope?

If so, be pure like Him. Do not allow sin to stain you

He was sinless. He kept Himself away from sin and gave us victory over sin. Do not forget, sinning is rebellion against God and His word.

Have you put your faith in Jesus? If so, it means you live in Him. Those who live in Him do not continue to sin. If you say you believe in Jesus but continue to live in sin, that means you do not know the true meaning. Do you belong to God? If so, do not sin

1 John 3:8 says, “The one who does what is sinful is of the devil, because the devil has been sinning from the beginning”.

Jesus Christ has come to the world to put an end to Satan's works. Christ has put an end to what Satan has done in your life, at the cross. Now you belong to Christ. On the cross He provide you with redemption and new birth.

1 John 3 vs 9 says “No one who is born of God will continue to sin, because God’s seed remains in them; they cannot go on sinning, because they have been born of God.”

The word says, those born of God will not continue to sin. Sin has no more authority on your life. And there is no place in your life for sin. You belong to the Lord. The Lord has given you new life. And you are a new person in Him.

Now is the time to do what is right!

The Lord expects you to love your brothers and sisters.

The world does not know what true love is. But you who belong to the Lord, knows well what love is.

What is love? A feeling? An emotion?

Love is a choice. You choose to love or not to love. You need to show your love in your actions.

If you're not quite sure what love is, look at Christ. You will see perfect love in Him.

1 John 3:16 says “This is how we know what love is: Jesus Christ laid down his life for us...”.

How did Christ demonstrate His love for us? Did’nt He demonstrate His love by taking our place on the cross ? He also expect us to demonstrate our love.

1 John 3:16, says to us, “And we ought to lay down our lives for our brothers and sisters.”

Isn't our lives the most valuable thing to us? Don't we do all we can to protect it? Don't we value it?

The Lord instructs us to love our brothers and sisters the way we love, protect and value ourselves.

In 1 John 3:17 He asks us, “If anyone has material possessions and sees a brother or sister in need but has no pity on them, how can the love of God be in that person?”

God gives blessings to each one of us in varying degrees. He wants to use us to bless others, especially our brothers and sisters in Christ.

Do you have possessions? That qualifies you to share. Go and help a brother who is in need. When you do this, you show him love. When you do this, you reflect God's love and bring Him glory.

Do you really love your brothers and sisters in the Lord?

To say to one another, I love you is easy. Just say it and it ends there. Just turn away and leave. But true love is found in our actions and sincerity. The same way it is with faith.

How do we show our faith? Don't we show our faith by our actions? Likewise show your love in your actions.

It is a command from our Lord Jesus to love our brothers and sisters. Just as you take heed of the commandments, not to commit adultery, not to steal and to flee for such sins, you also need to obey the command to love your brothers and sisters.

If you obey God's commands, you live in God. This means God lives in you. He lives in you by His Holy Spirit He gave you.

You do have difficulty loving your brothers and sisters? Why ?

Is it because they are different from you?

It is because of different cultures or backgrounds?

Is it because their material status is better or worse than yours?

Is it because they are not as cultured as you?

Or that you don't like their style or mannerisms?

If this is so, Listen to the voice of the Holy Spirit speaking to your heart. He will convict your heart and you will have no courage to stand before God. You will not recieve from Him what you have asked. Before God, you will be like Cain who belonged to Satan and  killed his brother. Cain was jealous of his brother, and he killed him.

Perhaps you may not have killed your brothers in the body, but you may have killed them with hurtful words and attitudes. They may be hurt by the distance you have put between you and them. You commit murder with what you think of them or with the hateful things you say to them.

But if you forgive and love your brothers just as the Lord has forgiven and loved you, you can stand boldly before Him. You know you will recieve what you have asked from Him. When your heart condemns you, you will know how to set your heart at rest in His presence. Because you have obeyed His commandment to love one another.

Today choose to love your brother. Show your love by your actions. Do not be distant from them.

May the differences we have, not be a problem but a blessing.

If someone does something wrong, tell him courteously.

If he sins, approach him lovingly and pray for him.

Romans 12:10 says “Be devoted to one another in love. Honor one another above yourselves.”

Love your brothers and show honour.

Remember how much God loves you.

The closer you get to God, the more you understand His love.

When you understand His great unconditional love for you, it will be easier to love your brothers and sisters.

May the Lord show us the way to help each other in our relationships and give us the attitudes towards each other in conformity to His will. Amen!
