  • About İncil

The Injil in Arabic إنجيل (or Incil in turkish) is the Arabic name for the original Gospel of Jesus. Arab Christians use an Arabic Bible that is the same Bible used by other Christians world wide, but sometimes refer to it as Injil. The first four books of the New Testament in Arabic are named Injil-Al-Mattius, Injil-Al-Marcus, Injil-Al-Lucas, and Injil-Al-Yohannah.

In addition, the canon of the book itself is called Kitab-Al-Muqaddas, which means "sacred book" or "Holy Bible."  However in Turkey Incil is refered to all New Testament and when Old and New Testament is refered the name changes into "Kutsal Kitap" (Kitab Muqades in old turkish).

  • About Christianity

The average Muslim around the world has a tremendous misunderstanding of Christianity. This is largely due to fact that their only understanding of Christianity comes from movies, music and television shows such as “Baywatch,” “Madonna,” Rated-R films, etc. Because they believe USA or any country in Europe is a Christian nation, they assume everything that comes out of these lands is Christian.

Muslims think Christians believe in three gods: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Mother (Mary). They believe that Christians and Jews have changed the Bible; therefore, although the Quran acknowledges the Gospel of Christ, the Torah of Moses and the Psalms of David, the existing copies can't be trusted. In any case, they are all superseded by the Quran.

  • About Church in Turkey

For the first time in 550 years, Christianity inside Turkey is growing in numbers and influence. But its recent growth comes at a high price: since February 2006, radicalized Muslims have killed five Christians—the kind of cold-blooded martyrdom not seen in decades.

Few nations have as rich a Christian history as Turkey. This is where Paul founded some of the earliest churches, including the church at Ephesus. Seven churches in this region were addressed in the Book of Revelation. Those in the early monastic movement found the caves of Cappadocia a near-perfect place to live out lives of prayer. Constantinople, now the city of Istanbul, became the capital of the Roman Empire just as it was being Christianized, and the Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople has been the leader of worldwide Orthodoxy for centuries..

  • About Turkey

Turkey lies on the ruins of many civilizations including Hittites, Trojans, Greeks, Romans,Byzantine Empire, Seljuks and Ottomans. You can feel this wealth of history everywhere you go in Turkey. Turks have a great cuisine, infamous baths, rich traditions associated with tea and coffee, towels and bathrobes, traditional rugs, whirling dervishes, nargile (Turkish water pipe)and of courseTurkish delight.

You can get engaged in a variety of activities in Turkey includingriver rafting, skiing, scuba diving, cruising and hot air ballooning. You can travel thousands of years back in time at the historical sites, or enjoy the works of nature.

  • About Bodrum

Situated on a beautiful peninsula, Bodrum, home of the famous Greek historian Herodotus, is these days better known as a popular holiday resort. Enchanting villages of houses painted in white and trimmed with purple bougainvillea together with miles of sandy beaches and ideal locations for water sports.

Bodrum, known in ancient times as Halicarnassus, was the birthplace of Heredotus and the site of King Mausolus' Tomb, the Mausoleum (4th century B.C.), one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. In the harbour, the Bodrum Castle, or the medieval castle of St. Peter, is a fine example of 15th-century crusader architecture, and has been converted into the Museum of Underwater Archaeology, with remains dating as far back as the Bronze Age.
